The Inspection Console
In 2008, we launched our business into the digital age and implemented an online automated inspection tracking
system called the Inspection Console. Using Shoaff Technologies' premier inspection management system,
our clients are able to create inspection requests, track their progress, approve and download completed
inspections online.
Automation
This technology has enable us to keep our prices low by eliminating paper handling and physical delivery
of inspections. It's also enabled us to complete inspections more quickly. We can assign work
to our inspectors within minutes of receiving new requests. We can track the progress of inspections much more easily.
Status
Available 24 hours a day 7 days a week the Inspection Console provides the status for each inspection request.
Our clients can add special requests, comments and follow up questions on all inspections. Prior to using the console's comment features,
too much time was lost while when inspectors couldn't find an address and had to call the underwriter and wait for a
response. Now, inspectors and underwriters can communicate directly through the Inspection Console.
Quality Control
Automating the tracking and delivery of inspections has simplified Underwriters' adminstrative workload and greatly
expanded Underwriters' ability to manage greater volumes of work and clients. The Inspection Console has Quality Assurance
processes built into the inspection flow of work. Each and every inspection is reviewed by Underwriters' most experienced
loss control experts. Only after their approval will completed inspections be submitted to clients for acceptance. All
review and approval process and responses are managed and tracked by the Inspection Console. Quality data, approvals
and acceptance information is tracked for the life of each inspection.
